Contributed to Red Tape Reduction Project as industry advisor on Local Government’s role in agricultural planning and development assessments. Identified and proposed improvements to facilitate an efficient and consistent approvals process.

 

Developed and facilitated a series of industry career presentations for students to promote careers in agriculture which were then adopted by other regions.

Member of the Agricultural Research Western Australia’s Government Sector Expert Panel Workshop in 2009 on the Future of Food Systems in the South West of Western Australia to identify opportunities, options and development.

Successfully negotiated with the Valuer General’s Office to increase valuation on mining freehold land.
 

Developed Emergency Management Arrangements in accordance with the new Emergency Management Act 2006.
 

Successfully applied for Ministerial agreement to write off water rates on properties auctioned for outstanding rates.
